REASONS FOR PROPAGANDA:

Akhil is the name everyone has been waiting for about 5-6 years to be on screen soon. Along with Akkineni fans everyone are awaiting for this movie release where in Commercial director VV Vinayak wield the mega phone and hero Nithin turned producer for this venture.

Akkineni Nagarjuna got the responsibility of his son’s debut on both these shoulders. After couple of postponements this movie is now out in the arena and lets see how much it has worked out at the box office. Akkineni Nagarjuna made sure there are no competitors for him on the debut season and he got succeeded about it.

Director VV Vinayak is working with a debut hero after a long time. He is known for launching Young heroes from big families of Telugu film industry. Akhil came before the audience in guest role in his family film Manan this is his full length hero film for Akhil. More expectation on this film is that Director VV. Vinayak is directing this film. By seeing second teaser of the movie it created interest on the film.

Akhil Movie Music Directed by Two young music directors Anup Rubens and S. Thaman. Actress Sayesha Saigal is acting first movie as the pair to Akhil.

NARRATION:
Akhil’s story revolves around a dragon ball which is belonging to JUA the Sun god. The movie has got a guy Akhil who is a tourist guide in abroad meets heroine Sayesha Saigal over there who comes in there for her Post graduation course. Akhil fells in love with the girl at first sight and she does go behind him after few scenes between them. Akhil will be hugely shocked when someone kidnaps her before the interval and this leads him to reach Africa in search of his girl friend.

Sayesha Saigal was in some tribal area and Akhil Akkineni goes there to rescue her with the help of Comedians Brahmanandam and Vennela Kisore. Later on the story is all about how Akhil succeeded in bring his girl friend out, How does Akhil manage to know what is exactly happening near the Kango river area, Whom is this tribal people related to .. Why is Khil the only saviour for them..

SAFE SIGNS:
Considering the debut performance of Akhil he stood top class with perfect moves and steps in the dances. He is openly giving out challenge to best dancers in the industry like Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan Tej. His dialogues are ok and Akhil could not be judged on debut performance though. Nagarjuna’s entry in the second half song gave good goose bumps to Akkineni fans in the theatres. Heroine Sayesha Saigal is just Ok. Brahmanandam and Vennela Kisore Comedy is ok but not that great.

HAZARD SIGNS:
Director VV Vinayak who took a good story failed completely on the grounds of screenplay, He has not shown a proper mark of his on the movie at any stage. Once a super star son is making his debut one would have the eye on entire category but Vinayak seems not spent his time properly on the pre release script.

ADDITIONAL PHASE:

Kona Venkat dialogues are just Ok, Thaman back groung music is not that great. Lot of illogical and mishandled things in the second half. First half carried ok feel but second half ruined it to the core.

Vinayak has a mark of great director in Telugu and on one stage viewer will be surprised to see who is the director for this movie. The logic between JUA, Dragon ball, Tribal people is mishandled without a proper logic. Comedy is ok but not great as expected in a Vinayak movie.

CineXpress VERDICT:
Finally, Akhil is a good platform for launching a star hero’s son debut with good story but Vinayak failed it most the times. Akhil has got not single great scene which can surprise the viewers and ended up on average note. When ever the director Vinayak has got rotten of his routine scenes Akhil maximum managed to escape the feel with his good performance, dances too.

As Nagarjuna has taken utmost care for an utmost zero competition for 1-2 weeks this might go commercially really good, Else considering a quality product Akhil doesn’t stand beside Alludu Seenu atleast in the comedy or action feel it gives us.
